we’ve made an incredible impact on our community: we have significantly reduced
all-cause harm for our patients and decreased mortality by more than 40%
system-wide.We’ve expanded access to the most vulnerable in our
communities, created new virtual care options and impacted many tens of
thousands of lives. Last year alone, we provided more than $150 million
in direct community benefit.

Legacy gifts are planned and
strategic charitable investments that can provide you with important tax
benefits now and in the future. Your planned gift also gives you the
satisfaction of supporting the excellent patient care, education and research
programs of Mission Health.
Legacy giving options are summarized below:
- Charitable Bequests - including one of Mission’s hospitals in your will and other
estate plans generously supports our mission of healing for years to come.
Charitable Lead Trusts - often incorporated into long-term plans to
transfer wealth to children or grandchildren. A charitable lead trust provides
important current support to the Mission Health Department of Philanthropy and
also helps donors greatly reduce their estate and gift taxes when wealth is
passed on to heirs.
Life-Income Gifts - gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and the
pooled income funds. These gifts provide donors with an income stream,
significant tax savings and the satisfaction of supplying a Mission Department
of Philanthropy with vital long-term philanthropic resources.

Philanthropy in memory of someone, we will send a letter to a person you
designate (keeping the amount confidential) or, if you prefer, you can send a

birthday, anniversary or arrival of a new baby. A donation in honor of the
recipient will make a difference in the life of a patient, child or local
